Itzulpena eta interpretazioa: zurekin baina zu gabe

Abstract

Artikulu honen abiapuntua itzulpenaren eta interpretazioaren arteko harremana da, eta, ondoren, hibridoak, eta, zehazki, ikusizko itzulpena aztertzen dira xehekiago. “Aldibereko interpretazioa testuarekin” izeneko modalitatea da, hain zuzen, hibrido horietako bat, eta oso maiz erabiltzen da Euskal Autonomia Erkidegoan (EAE), batez ere Eusko Legebiltzarrean. Artikulu honek EAEko hizkuntza-arloko araudiari eta egungo egoera soziolinguistikoari begira erantzuten dio galdera horri.The starting point of this article is the relationship between translation and interpreting. From there, it moves on to the analysis of hybrid activities and, more specifically, sight translation. Simultaneous interpreting with text is one of those hybrids, and it is very often used in the Basque Autonomous Community (BAC), especially at the Basque Parliament. Therefore, the interest in deepening knowledge of this modality is clearly justified by its commonplace nature and the lack of research on the topic until now. However, translation always happens from Basque into Spanish, never the opposite direction. Why? This article seeks to answer this question by analysing the language regulation and the sociolinguistic situation of the BAC.
