Abstract
Lan honetan poli(binil azetatoa) oinarri daukan eta binil trialkoxisilano monomero desberdinekinekin eraldatutako emultsio polimerizazioz lortutako latexa aztertzen da, estaldura aplikazioetan erabiltzeko asmoz. Hainbat teknika erabiliz (zentrifugazioa, soxhlet erauzketa, AF4/MALS…) ikusi da silano monomeroak formulazioan kopuru txikietan gehitzean polimeroak biltegiratzean zehar aldatu egiten direla, silanoen kondentsazio erreakzioen kausaz. Ez hori bakarrik, erabilitako silanoak bilakaeraren abiaduran eragina daukala ere ikusi da, zehazki, are eta hidrolisi abiadura azkarragoa izan, orduan eta bilakaera azkarragoa dauka kopolimeroak.
In this work poly(vinyl acetate) based copolymers, modified with vinyl alkoxysilane monomers are studied, for coating applications. Using different techniques (centrifugation, soxhlet extraction, AF4/MALS…) it was observed that when the alkoxysiloane is added in small amounts to the formulation the copolymers gain the ability to change during the storage, due to the condensation reactions of the silanes. Not only that, the rate of evolution is greatly affected by the silane type, and can be correlated with the hydrolysis rate of the alkoxy group.
