Abstract
Genomak kirolaren errendimenduan izan dezakeen garrantzia asko ikertu da azken urteotan. Nekearekin erlazionatuta dagoen jarduera fisikoaren mugatzaileetako bat odolaren laktato kontzentrazioaren igoera da. Monocarboxylate transporter 1 (MCT1) genearen T1470A polimorfismoak (rs1049434) laktatoaren garraioa eta oxidazioa emendatzen ditu. Horregatik, Wingate Anaerobic Test (WAnT) esfortzu proban polimorfismo honek izan dezakeen eragina 55 triatleta euskaldunetan aztertu da. AA eta AT genotipoak, TT genotipoarekin alderatuz, WAnT proban lortutako Potentzia maximo (PM) eta Batezbesteko potentzia (BP) handiagoarekin erlazionatu ziren. Ondorioz, AA eta AT genotipoak metabolismo anaerobikoan oinarritutako kirolekin erlazionatu daitezke.
Recently, the relevance of genetics in sports performance has increased considerably. One of the limiting factors of physical exercise is the accumulation of blood lactate. The T1470A polymorphism of the Monocarboxylate transporter 1 (MCT1) gene (rs1049434) improves blood lactate transport and oxidation. Therefore, the association of this polymorphism with Wingate Anaerobic Test (WAnT) performance was studied in 55 Basque triathletes. The AA and AT genotypes were associated with higher Peak Power (PP) and Mean Power (MP) compared to the TT genotype. In conclusion, the AA and AT genotypes might be related to anaerobic sports performance.
