Abstract
Gehiegizko alkohol-kontsumoa, batez ere nerabezaroan, egungo gizarteak kezkatzen duen arazo larrienetako bat da. Hainbat ikerketek etanolak eta sistema endokannabinoideak (SE) elkar eragiten dutela agerian utzi dute, azken honen funtzioa eraldatuz. Ingurune aberastuak (IAk) aldaketa molekular, anatomiko zein funtzionalak eragiten ditu garunaren garapen prozesuan. Gure xedea, nerabezaroan droga honen kontsumoaren ondorioz sorturiko eraginei aurre egiteko aberastutako inguruneak helduaroko saguen hipokanpoan duen rola aztertzea izango da.
Alcohol drinking, especially during adolescence, is a serious public health concern. Ethanol interacts with the endocannabinoid system whose function may be altered in ethanol dependence. An enriched environment (EE) has been shown to significantly facilitate recovery from brain injury due to important anatomical, functional and molecular changes that occur along brain development. Here, we investigated the potential positive effects that EE will have to counteract the impairment induced by ethanol intake during adolescence in the adult mice hippocampus.
