However, in recent years she has made public a different painting, based on psychoanalysis and reflecting on gender-based violence. An example of this line is the pioneering 19th series. To investigate these works, I suggest building a new framework, as the one developed around abstraction does not seem applicable. In order to do this, I use two subjects that are important to feminism, and present in Medina's work: the relationship between body and mind, and femininity.
