Honekin bat, erakutsi nahi dugu kode alternantziaren azterketabaliogarria dela hizkuntzaren ezaugarri orokorrak ikertzeko.According to recent approaches to code-switching, we can only use one phonological system in thephonetic mapping of each word, and therefore it is impossible to integrate elements from differentlanguages within a word (MacSwan, 2005; MacSwan and Colina, 2014). However, code-switchingbetween Basque and Spanish is also found in word internal position. Because of that, we propose thatphonological systems may not be completely separate and that there may be a certain degree ofinteraction between them.
