Lexikoian oinarritutako sentimendu analisirako tresnek askotan huts egiten dute balentzia aldatzaileak ezidentifikatzeagatik. Hori motibaziotzat hartuta eta Sentitegi sentimendu lexikoia eta Euskarazko Iritzi Corpusabaliabidetzat hartuta, fonologiako, morfologiako, sintaxiko eta diskurtsoko balentzia aldatzaileak identifikatuditugu. Emaitzek erakusten dutenez, euskarazko balentzia aldatzaileek hitz edo sintagmaren sentimendu balentziaindartu edo ahuldu dezakete. Beste batzuetan, ordea, balentzia aldatzailea den hizkuntza fenomenoak sentimenduhitzen balentzian ez du eraginik.There are more and more opinion texts with positive or negative subjectivity in the Internet and there is a needto automatically process them because doing this by hand is unfeasible. In language processing, there are toolsbased on lexicon and they determine if a sentence or text has a positive or negative opinion. In the lexicon, wordshave sentiment valence between [-5] (very negative) and [+5] (very positive). This work presents a study toidentify contextual valence shifters in Basque. That is to say, we identify phenomena that change the sentimentvalence or evaluation of words. Many lexicon-based tools for sentiment analysis have a lack of information aboutvalence shifters. With that motivation and using the Basque Opinion Corpus and Sentitegi sentiment lexicon, wehave identified phonological, morphological, syntactic and discourse-based sentiment shifters. According to ourresults, sentiment shifters can strengthen or weaken the sentiment valence of words or phrases in Basque.
