Estaldura komertzialekin alderatu da sintetizatutako latexa, emaitza positiboak lortuz.Hybrid coatings were synthesized using seeded semibatch miniemulsion polymerization process in order to protect wood surfaces from the sunlight energy. UV absorbing CeO2 nanoparticles were incorporated into an acrylic polymeric matrix. Transmission Electron microscopy (TEM) was used to see if the desired encapsulated morphology was reached. Due to the good dispersion of the CeO2 nanoparticles in the hybrid film, transparent films were obtained. Moreover, UV absorption capacity increased with the nanoparticle content.
