Horretarako, hizkuntzen gaineko alderdien proposamen politikoak eta ikusmolde ideologikoen ikerketa bateratua bideratu da. Artikulu honetan EAEko bost familia politikoen 1980-2012 arteko EAEko Legebiltzarrerako hauteskunde programen eduki azterketaren diseinua eta zenbait emaitza laburtzen dira.The debate on the coexistence between Basque and Spanish language is heated in the political arena of Basque Autonomous Community (BAC). The central area of discussion is twofold: on the one hand, the social functions that these languages should fulfill, and in the other hand the way to attain the desired scenario. A research on the BAC’s political parties’ language emplacement has been conducted in order to approach the foundation of the debate: more precisely, a combined analysis on their language policies and language ideologies.
