Peak height-velocity (PHV) has been associated with increased injury-risk for those injuries, however, an association with specific growth-related injuries is unclear. Thus, we modelled 110 growth-curves so as to detect each player’s age at PHV and calculate specific growth-related injuries’ burden (number of days lost/ number of player/seasons) in each maturity status period (pre-, circa- and post-PHV).
