| dc.description | Over the last few years, in line with the scant democratic will that has apparently been spreading throughout post-industrial society —especially regarding the bases and processes of representative democracy— democratically reforming institutions has been urgently necessary in Europe with the result that, among other things, local participatory experiments are spreading. Even though the experiences in the territorries that have been researched are not new, we can safely say that they becoming more generalized and, in several cases, are becoming institutionalized in Germany, France, the United Kingdom and, in this concrete case, Spain. | en-US |
