Morfinak eragindako aldaketa epigenetikoen azterketan "in vitro" eta "in vivo"

Abstract

Epigenetikaren inguruko ikerketa gehienak kanpo faktoreek edo barne estimuluek, prozesu zelular eta fisiologikoetan nola eragiten duten ulertzean zentratzen dira. Aldaketa epigenetikoak, nukleotidoen sekuentzian inongo aldaketarik sortu gabe DNA-ri itsasten zaizkion molekula kimiko batzuk dira eta hauek, geneen adierazpena arautzen dute. Kanpo faktoreek aldaketa ugari sortu ditzakete patroi epigenetikoan, hala ere, prozesu honetan parte hartzen duten azpi-mekanismoen inguruan oso gutxi ezagutzen da. Most of the research on epigenetics focuses on understanding how external factors or internal stimuli influence cellular and physiological processes. Epigenetic changes are chemical molecules that adhere to DNA without causing any change in the nucleotide sequence and that regulate the expression of genes. External factors can produce many changes in the epigenetic pattern, although very little is known about the sub-mechanisms involved in this process. Therefore, the main objective of this work is to analyse the epigenetic marks that regulate the expression of genes through the use of morphine as an external stimulus, focusing on the methylation of DNA and putting special interest in the gene-expression of its regulatory machinery.
