Abstract

Artikulu hau doktorego tesi baten atal bat da eta egunerokotasunean etxeko eta zaintza lanak, enplegua eta parte hartze soziopolitikoaren artikulazioa aztertzea du helburu. Ikuspegi feministatik garatutako hipotesi zehatz batetik abiatzen da: emakumeek eta zaintza lanak bere gain hartzen dituztenek zailtasun bereziak dituzte lan merkatuan zein partehartze soziopolitikoan aritzerako orduan. Hortik abiatuta, aipatutako hiru esparruetan murgilduta dabilen jendearen esperientziak aztertzea nahi du, bai kualitatiboki zein kuantitatiboki. Oraingoan, baina, ikerketaren atal kuantitatiboaren emaitzak aurkezten dira. Emaitzok Eustat Estatistika Erakundearen Denbora Aurrekontuen Inkestari (1993-2013) egiten diote erreferentzia eta analisia hainbat genero-adierazleen bitartez garatu da.

The aim of this article is to introduce a small extract of a PhD thesis about the articulations between household and care work, employment and political participation. This research has been built arround the feminist perspective and the central hypothesis is that women in general and caregivers in particular experience specific constraints to balance employment and political participation with household and care work. Attending to this hypothesis, the objective of the thesis is to explore quantitatively and qualitatively the experiences of the people involved in these three spheres. However, in these article we just examine the quantitative results. The results refer to Basque Statistic Institute’s (Eustat) Time Use Survey (1993-2013) and the analysis is developed through some gender-indicators.
