Lapurdi itsas hegiko euskara: hiru ezaugarri fonologikoren azterketa

Abstract

Lapurdi itsas hegiko euskarari buruzko ezagutzaren sakontzea, bere sailkapena zehaztea eta euskara bera ikertzea dira gure xedeak. “Kostatar” deitu mintzairaren hobeki ezagutzeko helburuarekin, hiru ezaugarri fonologiko hautatu eta aztertu ditugu: hasperena, hiatusa (i + a eta u + a) eta i bokalak eta j bokalerdiak eragindako asimilazio bustidura. Horretarako, hautatu lekukoekin bildu ditugun datuak, baita gure esku diren inguruko hizkeren ikerlanak ere kontuan hartu ditugu. Lan hau ondoko hilabeteetan landu eta sakondu nahi dugun deskribapen osoago baten lehen urratsa da.The objectives of this paper are to gain a deeper understanding of the Basque speech particular to the Labourdin coast, to study its classification, and to examine the Basque language overall. In order to further our knowledge of the speech known as “kostatar,” we have selected and studied three phonological characteristics: aspiration, hiatus (i + a and u + a) and assimilation palatalization generated by the vowel i and the glide j. This was done based on the information collected from our chosen native speakers, as well as from the available studies made on neighboring speeches. This work is a first part of a more complete description, which we will elaborate and develop in the coming months.
