Ingurumen-kutsaduraren isla jaioberrien lehen elikagaian: substantzia arrotzen analisia ama-esnean

Abstract

Gaur egun ezagutzen den gaixotasun anitz ingurumen-kutsadurari estuki lotuta dago. Kutsatzaile horien menpe egotearen eta horrek dakartzan osasun-arazoen ikerketari “esposoma” deritzo. Gorputzari arrotzak zaizkion substantziak (xenobiotikoak) eta euren metabolitoak milaka dira eta hainbeste konposatu batera aztertzea erronka handia da analisiaren ikuspegitik. Ondorioz, espektro zabaleko konposatuen analisiak mahaigaineratzen dira. Matrize gisa, ama-esnea jariakin biologiko interesgarria da, kutsatzaileak hor metatu eta, amaren esposizioa ez ezik, jaioberriarena ere ikertzeko balioko bailuke. Testuinguru horretan, lan honen helburua esnetan 187 xenobiotiko eta metabolito analizatzeko metodoa fintzea da, etorkizunean Ama-Esnearen Euskal Bankura dohaintzan emandako esnea aztertzeko.
A part of current diseases is related to the environmental contamination we are daily exposed to. The study of the exposure and consequent health issues is known as “exposome”. One of the main throwbacks this type of studies own is the huge number of pollutants (and potential metabolites) of interest. Consequently, broad-scoped analyses are suitable options when coping with those numbers. As target matrix, breast milk is of special interest, since contaminants accumulate there, affecting both mother and nursing child. Based on the above mentioned, the aim of this project is to develop analytical procedures to study the presence of 187 xenobiotics and related metabolites in breast milk, to analyze milk samples from the Basque Bank of Breast Milk in the future.
