Gehigarri polimerikoen sintesia eta hauek zementuaren hidratazioan daukaten eraginaren azterketa

Abstract

Zementuan oinarritutako materialen propietateak hobetzeko, PCE (polycarboxylate ether) deituriko gehigarri polimerikoak erabiltzen dira. PCEek zementu-pastaren maneiukortasuna hobetzeaz gain, zementuaren hidratazioa atzeratzen dute. Lan honetan egitura desberdinak dauzkaten PCEak sintetizatu ditugu erradikal askeen bidezko polimerizazio bidez, ondoren Portland zementu (OPC) batek eta zementu horren fase kristalino nagusiek daukaten eragina aztertu da. Ikusi da, OPCaren hidratazioaren atzerapena karboxilato-dosiarekiko proportzionala dela, eta PCE guztiak kurba nagusi batera doitu daitezkeela. Fase kristalinoak banaka aztertzean, aldiz, ez da hori betetzen, eta albo-katearen luzera bakoitzak bere kurba propioa daukala ikusi da.
Polymeric additives such as polycarboxylate ethers (PCE) are widely used to improve the properties of cement-based materials. PCEs not only improve the workability of the cement paste, but also delay the hydration of the cement. In this work, we synthesized PCEs with different structures, by means of free-radical polymerization, and then analyzed the effect they have on an Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) cement and the main crystalline phases of that cement. It has been observed that on OPC the hydration delay is proportional to the carboxylate dose, and that all PCEs can be adjusted to a master curve. When analyzing the crystalline phases individually, however, this is not fulfilled, as each side chain length has its own curve.
