Abstract
Gaur egun, gero eta gehiago dira ugalketa tekniken beharra dutenak haurdun geratu ahal izateko bai ugalkortasunarekin lotutako arazoak emendatu direlako baita familia ereduak aldatu direlako ere. Zoritxarrez, oraindik zailtasunak daude lagundutako ugaltze-tekniken bidez haurdunaldia lortzeko. Teknika horien artean badago berebiziko garrantzia duena oozitoa ernaldua izateko: oozitoen in vitro heltzea (IVM). Gutxi erabiltzen den teknika da oraindik bestelako tekniken emaitzen arrakastara heldu ez delako. Hala ere, hainbat emakumerentzat oso aukera aproposa izan liteke eta beste zenbaitentzat haurdunaldia lortzeko aukera bakarra. Oozitoaren heltze-prozesuan lagungarriak izan litezkeen ligando interesgarri batzuk kannabinoideak ditugu: haiek eragiten duten seinaleztapena eta oozitoen heltze-prozesua hasteko gertatu behar den seinaleztapena berdina delako. Horregatik, egokia ikusi dugu kannabinoideen erabilera terapeutikoa aztertzea IVM medioen eraginkortasuna hobetzeko. Horretarako, gure ikerketa taldeak sistema kannabinoidearen funtzioa aztertu du sagu oozitoen heltze-prozesuan, ernalketan eta enbrioiaren garapenean eta baieztatu dugu haren parte-hartzea; ez hori bakarrik, izan ere, THC fitokannabinoideak oozitoen heltze-prozesua modulatzen duela ikusi dugu. Every year, the amount of couples using assisted reproduction techniques to get pregnant, due to the increase of fertility problems and the changes in family patterns, is increasing. Even though, the application of reproduction techniques still finds multiple difficulties. Among these techniques there is one of vital importance to ensure the fertilization of the oocyte: the in vitro maturation of oocytes (IVM). This technique is less used than others because of its poor success. However, it is a good option for several women and, in some cases, the only chance to get pregnant. Cannabinoids could be interesting ligands to improve oocyte maturation, as cannabinoid`s molecular pathway is similar to the one by which oocyte’s meiosis resumption is activated. Therefore, we consider the analysis of therapeutic use of cannabinoids useful to improve the efficiency of IVM media. That’s why, our research team has studied the function of the cannabinoid system in the process of maturation, fertilization and embryo development in mice, and we have confirmed its participation. Beyond that, we have seen that in fact, the fitocannabinoid (THC) modulates oocyte maturation. Fertility, oocyte maturation , IVM, cannabinoid system, THC cannabinoid 168
