dc.description.abstractGaur egun, garuneko traumatismo (GT) arinak osasun arazo garrantzitsua bilakatu dira duten intzidentzia altua dela eta. GT arinaren ezaugarri nabarmenetako bat asaldura kognitiboak dira. Garuneko lesio errepikakor arinak asaldura neurokognitibo larriagoekin lotu daitezke, nahiz eta egiturazko patologiarik ez egon. Halaber, GT arin baten ondoren, beste hainbat patologietan deskribatu den moduan, sistema endokannabinoidean aldaketak gertatzen direla frogatu da. dc.description.abstractMild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) is a significant health issue due to its high prevalence in the youth. Cognitive impairments are some of the most prominent features and repeated mTBI (r-mTBI) can be associated with neurocognitive deficits even without overt structural damage. Changes in the endocannabinoid system have been shown to occur after mTBI. Thus, the aim of this investigation was to study the effect of r-mTBI (awake closed-head injury model) on CB1 receptor distribution in the rat hippocampus, brain structure involved in learning and memory processing.en
