Adineko pertsonek COVID-19 pandemiari aurre egiteko erabiltzen dituzten irudikapen sozial eta emozionalak aztertzen

Abstract

Espainia COVID-19ren Europako epizentroetako bat bihurtu da, eta pandemia horrek bereziki adinekoei eragin die; Hori dela eta, ikerketa honen helburua da adinekoek egoera bera nola ulertzen duten arakatzea. Metodologia kualitatiboa erabiliz, Euskal Autonomia Erkidegoko 115 parte-hartzaileri (adin tartea: 60-85 urte) "Coronavirus" hitzarekin elkartzeko ariketa librea egin zaie. Emaitzen arabera, hasiera batean, gobernua eta komunikabideak kritikatzen dira mezu argirik ez emateagatik. Hala ere, emozioak eta arriskua era nabarmenean agertzen dira adinari lotuta. Spain has become one of the European epicentres of COVID-19, a pandemic that has particularly affected the elderly, so the aim of this study is to track how the elderly understand the same situation. Using qualitative methodology, 115 participants from the Basque Autonomous Community (age range: 60-85 years) were given a free exercise to encounter the word "Coronavirus". According to the results, in principle, the government and the media are criticised for not giving a clear message. However, emotions and risk are significantly expressed in relation to age. Therefore, it is suggested that governments need to manage the current situation with older people, with an emphasis on social and inclusive policies to help alleviate the possible effects of the pandemic and the lock-in.
