Abstract
Nazionalismo-ikerketen baitan kokatutako ikerketa honen ardatza derrigorrezko hezkuntza da(Lehen Hezkuntzako 6. maila, hain zuzen), eta euskal eta espainiar identitateen transmisio hutsal edoinkontzientea aztertzen du, gaur egun Euskal Autonomia Erkidegoko ikastetxeek erabiltzen dituztenGizarte Zientzietako testuliburuen analisiaren bidez. Besteak beste Michael Billig-en nazionalismo“banal” edo hutsalaren tesiaz baliaturik, eduki-analisi kualitatiboa erabili da hiru argitaletxetakotestuliburuak konparatzeko. Aurkikuntzei dagokienez, argitaletxe gehienek espainiar nazionalismoaeuskaraz banalizatzen dute, paradoxikoki. Ikaselkar argitaletxea da euskal nortasuna modunazionalistan —eta ez erregionalistan— erreproduzitzen duen bakarra.Hitz gakoak: hezkuntza, testuliburuak, nazionalismo hutsala, espainiar nazionalismoa, euskalnazionalismoa
This research, located in the field of Nationalism Studies, focuses on compulsory education —moreprecisely, on the 6th degree of primary education— and examines the banal or unconscioustransmission of Basque and Spanish identities through the analysis of Social Science textbooks usednowadays in schools located in the Basque Autonomous Community. Drawing, among others, onMichael Billig’s thesis of banal nationalism, qualitative content analysis has been used to comparetextbooks from three publishers. Concerning the findings, most publishers banalise Spanishnationalism paradoxically through the Basque language. Ikaselkar is the only one reproducing Basqueidentity in a nationalist —and not regionalist— fashion.
