Euskal Herriko ferra-saguzarren dieten gainezarpena

Abstract

Euskal Herrian hiru ferra-saguzar ditugu: Rhinolophus euryale, Rhinolophus hipposideros etaRhinolophus ferrumequinum. Animalien ekologia eta jokaera ulertu ahal izateko harrapari eta harrapakinenarteko elkarrekintza ezagutzea ezinbestekoa da. Izan ere, antzekoak diren espezieen koexistentziaahalbidetzen duen faktoreetako bat nitxo trofikoaren partiketa da. Hori dela eta, ikerketa honen helburuaespezie hauen dieta molekularki karakterizatzea eta beraien nitxoen gainezarpena aztertzea izan da. R.hipposideros-en dietan agerpen gehienak dipteroei dagozkie, R. euryale-renean lepidopteroei eta R.ferrumequinum-enean diptero, koleoptero eta lepidopteroei. Harrapakinetako hamabi espezie soilik behatudira hiru saguzarren dietan. There are three horseshoe bats in the Basque Country: Rhinolophus euryale, Rhinolophushipposideros and Rhinolophus ferrumequinum. Knowledge on the trophic interactions between predators andits prey is important in order to understand ecology and behaviour of animals, since trophic niche partition isone of the factors allowing the coexistence of similar species. Therefore this study aims to characterize thesethree bats’ diets and analyse their niches overlap. Most occurrences in R. hipposideros belong to Diptera andLepidoptera, to Lepidoptera in R. euryale and Lepidoptera, Diptera and Coleoptera in R. ferrumequinum.Only twelve prey species have been found in the three bats. Niche partitioning is noticeable, since the highestoverlap is the one shown by R. hipposideros and R. ferrumequinum (%50).KEYWORDS: Diet, niche partitioning, Rhinolophus euryale, Rhinolophus hipposideros, Rhinolophusferrumequinum.
