Konpostajearen ahalmena crocosmia X crocosmiflora (Lemoine)ren propaguluak desbitalizatzeko

Abstract

. Azkeneko urte hauetan, Crocosmia x Crocosmiiflora L. izeneko landare inbasorea Euskal Herriko kostaldea erasaten ari da. Tokiko agintarientzako landare inbasore honen hondakin organikoak kudeatzea erronka bilakatu da. Lan honetan, irtenbide gisa, konpostaren ekoizpena planteatzen da. Hori dela eta, landare honen ugaltze organoak (kormo edo erraboilak) desbitalizatzeko konpostaren ahalmena ebaluatu da. Ikerketan ondorioztatzen denaren arabera, konpostak 60ºCko tenperatura modu homogeneoan lortzean erraboila guztiak deuseztatzen dira. Zenbait kasutan baldintza horiek lortzea zaila denez, zenbait estrategia eta aholku gomendatzen dira segurtasunez jokatzeko.

In recent years, an invasive plant called Crocosmia x Crocosmiiflora L. is affecting the coast of the Basque Country. For local authorities it has become a challenge to manage the organic remains of this weed. In this research work, the production of compost is proposed as a solution. Therefore the capacity of the compost to devitalize the reproductive organs (corms) of this invasive plant has been evaluated. The investigation concludes that if the compost reaches 60ºC of temperature, all the corms are inactivated. However, achieving this conditions, sometimes is dificult, therefore some strategies and tips are proposed in order to avoid the disemination of this weed.
