Abstract
Hemodinamikaren ereduen erabilerak gibeleko minbizien hainbat tratamenduren optimizazioa ahalbidetu dezake; adibidez, B-TACE tratamenduarena. B-TACE tratamendua arteria kolateralei esker ematen den odol-fluxuaren banaketaren aldaketan oinarritzen da. Odol-fluxuaren banaketan aldaketak ematen diren kasuetan, garrantzitsua izan daiteke efektu hori kontuan izatea hemodinamikaren ereduan. Artikulu honetan, hemodinamikaren azterketa egiten da eredu zero-dimentsional baten bidez B-TACE tratamenduaren kasu baterako, eta aztertzen da odol-fluxuaren banaketaren aldaketaren efektuak ereduan duen eragina. Emaitzek erakusten dute garrantzitsua dela efektu hau kontuan hartzea.
Hemodynamics modeling has the potential to become a powerful tool for optimizing transcatheter intraarterial treatments for liver cancer. Some of these treatments, e.g., balloon-occluded transarterial chemoembolization (B-TACE), relies on a blood flow redistribution through collateral arteries. When a blood flow redistribution takes place, it might be important to add the resistive effect of the redistribution to the model. In this paper, we present a case in which the blood flow during B-TACE is modeled with a zero-dimensional model, and the influence of including the redistribution resistance is assessed. Results show that it is important to add the redistribution resistance to the model.
