Abstract

Andrei Zvyagintsev errusiar “Olatu Berriko” zinearen ikurrik garrantzitsuena da. Zuzendari txalotuaren laugarren filma da Leviatan (Zvyagintsev, 2014). Filma errusiar gizartearen eta sistema politikoaren alegoria bat da. Hau da, gizartearen ispilu bat. Kolyaren istori simplea erabiliz, Errusiaren ustelkeriaren eta boterearen erabilera azaltzen du. Filmak horretako bi oinarri ditu: Thomas Hobbesen Leviatan liburua eta Bibliako Joben Liburua. Boteredun figuraren eta gerra-egoeraren kontzeptuek zer esan handi dute film honetan.
Andrey Zvyagintsev is one of the most important symbols of the "New Wave" of the Russian cinema. Leviatan is the fourth film of the renowned director (Zvyagintsev, 2014). This movie is an allegory of the current Russian society and its political system. Using the simple story of Kolya, Zvyagintsev explains the Russian corruption and the use of the power. The movie has two important references: Thomas Hobbes book Leviatan and the Biblical story of "the book of Job". The presence of a powerful figure and the state of nature are two important concepts which are present in the movie.
