| dc.description | Firstly we have differentiated the aspects of the Self-Competence and the Self- Esteem within the Self-concept. Next we have analized the relation between the complexity and the plurality of the Self-concept with the Self-monitoring that demands the adaptation, and we have raised the debate between the fragmentation and the integration of the Self. Later we have described the different levels of the Self-concept, as well as the different strategies that use the Self to manage the relations between these levels: Self-verification and Self-enhancement, the Impostor phenomenon, the Self-handicapping, the Self- deception, the Perfectionism and the Overachievement. | en-US |
