Abstract

Emakumeen presentzia komunikabideetan eskasa eta desorekatua da. Ez agertzeak ikustezin bihurtzen ditu (López, 2011). Kirol informazioak gizonengan jartzen du arreta eta emakumeak bigarren mailakoak kontsideratzen ditu; gizonekiko mendeko harremana betirakotuz eta Bourdieuren hitzetan (2000) indarkeria sinbolikoa litzatekeena gauzatuz. Elkarrizketa sakonen bidez 33 goi mailako emakume kirolari elkarrizketatu ditugu prentsaren inguruan hitz egiteko eta beraiek amestutako kirol mundu mediatikoa proposatzeko. Emaitzek emakume kirolarien ikustezintasuna azpimarratzen dute.The presence of women in the media is limited and unbalanced. The non-presence makes them invisible, unknown, non-existent (López, 2001). Sports information centralizes its efforts on men reinforcing stereotypes and gender roles, which consider women as second-class citizens, perpetuating power relations to which Bourdieu (2000) calls symbolic violence. Through in-depth interviews, the work aims to give voice to 33 elite women athletes so that they can express their opinion about the actual sports press and express how they would like it to be. The results reveal the invisibilization of the athletes in the media.
