MALDI-IMS: Ehun bateko konposatuen distribuzio-irudiak lortzeko masaespektrometria teknika ezagutzen

Abstract

Gaur egun, laborategietan biomolekulak eta materialak karakterizatzeko gero eta gehiago hedatu den Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization-Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) edo matrizez lagundutako laserraren bidezko desortzio ionizazioa-hegaldi denbora masa espektrometria teknika erabiltzen da. Teknika hau hainbat alorretan zabaldu egin da, masa molekularra jakitea baimentzen duelako inolako zatiketarik gabe, hau da, molekulen mikroegiturak karakterizatzea baimentzen du. Aldi berean, ehun batean dauden molekulen banaketa eta distribuzioa jakitea lor daitezke MALDI Imaging Mass Spectrometry (IMS) edo masa espektrometriaren bidezko irudia deritzon teknikari esker. Lan honetan, MALDI-IMS teknikaren oinarriak eta aplikazioak azaldu eta aztertuko dira.

Nowadays, the improved Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization-Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) technique is more and more used in laboratories to characterize biomolecules and materials. The use of this technique has increased in different fields due to the fact that molar mass is determined without any fragmentation, that is, allows the molecules microstructure characterization. At the same time, MALDI Imaging Mass Spectrometry (IMS) technique allows to detect the distribution of molecules in a tissue. In this work, the fundaments and applications of MALDI-IMS technique are going to be explained and studied.
