| dc.description | Forty years after the invention of the printing press by Gutenberg, Brocar, the first printer of the Basque Country moved from Pau to Iruñea and in 1489 printed the Manuale, a religious book. Also in Iruñea, and following the requirements of Cardinal Cisneros, other several incunabula were printed by Brocar who together with Miguel Egia, his son-in-law, printed in Alcala the Biblia Poliglota. In 1546 the second Basque printing press was built in Lizarra by Egia who was later succeeded by Anvers, the third Basque printer. In Bilbo the first printing press was built by Marés in 1578 whereas in Donostia the first press was probably constructed by Borgoña in 1586. In the next century were created the presses of the monasteries of Iratxe and Fitero. In respect to other Basque capitals, Merlet built the first printing press of Baiona in 1608 and, finally, Riesgo in 1722 the first one in Gasteiz. | en-US |

Beste inkunable batzuk ere inprimatu zituen Iruñean Brocar-ek, Cisneros kardinalak deituta Migel Egia suhiarekin Alcalan Biblia Poliglota inprimatu arte. Egiak Lizarran sortu zuen bigarren inprenta 1546 urtean, non Anvers-ek jarraitu zuen, hirugarren inprimatzailea izan zelarik. Bilbon 1578an sortu zuen lehendabiziko inprenta Marés-ek. Donostian Borgoñak jarri omen zuen lehendabizikoa 1586an. Hurrengo XVII. mendean sortu ziren Iratxe eta Fiteroko monasterioetakoak.
