Hizkuntzaren prozesamendua garun-eremu motorrean

Abstract

Hizkuntzaren Teoria Motorraren arabera, hizkuntzaren prozesamenduak prozesamendu motorreandu bere jatorria. Teoria hau frogatu nahian, mugimenduen prozesamenduari lotutako hainbat ezaugarrihizkuntzaren prozesamenduan ere ari dira aurkitzen. Esaterako, orain arte mu uhinen (8-13 Hz)portaera mugimenduen prozesamenduari lotuta soilik ikertu da. Hemen aurkezten den EEGesperimentu honek sintaxiak eta semantikak mu uhinengan duen eragina aztertzen du. 2x2diseinua du eta bere emaitzen arabera, sintaktikoki konplexuagoak diren esaldiek (ezezkoek)sinpleagoek baino (adierazpenekoek) mu uhinen desinkronizazio handiagoa sortzen dute garun-eremu motorrean (garun-area aurre-zentrala). According to the Motor Theory of Language, language processing has its origin on the motorcortex. In an atempt to prove this theory, features that have been related to cortical processing ofmovements are being studied related to language processing. Until very recently mu waves (8-13 Hz)have been studied just in relation to motor processing. This is EEG experiment analyses the impact ofsyntactic and semantic processing on the mu waves. This 2x2 design experiment indicated thatsyntactically more complex sentences (negatives) induce a greater mu desyncronization than simplerones (declaratives). These results back the Theory of Motor Processing since they show that languageprocessing modulates mu waves the same way motor processing does.
