dc.description.abstract | Lipidoak molekula oso heterogeneoak dira, eta hortaz, horien funtzioak anitzak dira. Izan ere, besteak beste, zelulen biziraupenean, hazkuntzan, euren arteko elkarrekintzetan eta heriotzean ezinbesteko zeregina dute. Funtzio horiek guztiek lotura zuzena dute zelulen gaiztotzearekin; hain zuzen ere, eraldaketa, progresio eta metastasiarekin. Azken urteotan, minbiziaren markatzaile genetikoen, epigenetikoen eta proteikoen ikerkuntzan aurrera pausuak eman diren arren, asko dago aztertzeke oraindik gaixotasun honen lipidomikari buruz. dc.description.abstract | Since lipids are very heterogeneous molecules, they perform very distinct functions. For instance, they play a critical role in cell survival, proliferation, cell-interactions and death. All these processes are directly linked to the malignification of the cells, concretely to the transformation, progression and metastasis. Despite the great progression made lately in the research of new genetic, epigenetic and proteomic biomarkers for cancer, there is still a lot to know about the lipidomics of this illness. Therefore, the aim of this study is to find new lipidomic biomarkers which will help in the diagnosis, prognosis and therapy election in melanoma. | en |
