This annexation was the result of weapons, using no compelling legal reasons and based on the justification canonical as a result of a controversial papal bulls of Julius II. In 1512, the Pope issued the Pastor ille caelestis bull, and according to this, anyone who acted against the Pope or their allies, or defect with Louis XII, had excommunicated. | en-US |
