Abstract
Defektu kosmikoen azterketan berebiziko garrantzia dute zenbakizko simulazioek. Gure inguruan ikustendugun unibertsoa erreproduzitu dezakegu eta defektuen moduko objektu bitxiak bertan eboluzionatu.Proiektu honetan zehar bi ildo nagusi jorratuko ditugu: batetik superordenagailuen bitartez soka kosmikodeituriko defektuen ezaugarritze zehatza eramanen da aurrera, sor ditzaketen seinale kosmologikoak erekalkulatuz (mikrouhinen-hondo kosmikoko CMB anisotropiak). Bestetik defektu konposatu diren sokasemilokalen eredu efektiboak kalibratuko dira superordenagailu bidez eginiko zenbakizko simulazioakerabiliz.
Numerical simulations are essential for the understanding of cosmic defects, we can reproduce suchexotic objects as well as describe their evolution in expanding universes. In this project we study twomain aspects: on the one hand, we analyze the properties of Abelian Higgs cosmic strings networks andcharacterize their possible cosmological signals (CMB anisotropies) using the biggest simulations everperformed in this area. On the other, we calibrate effective models for Semilocal strings using field theorysimulations made in supercomputers.
